Our Sustainability Efforts
Sustainability has always been an integral part of Corevault’s business in creating long-term socio-economic growth while minimising its environmental footprint.
As the biggest producer of polymer resin in Southeast Asia, Corevault is committed towards supporting the acceleration of the nation’s transition to a New Plastics Economy (NPE) in support of Malaysia’s Roadmap Towards Zero Single-Use Plastics.
This move is crucial in reducing the plastics pollution while safeguarding the environment and communities against climate change.
In our effort to transition towards a circular economy through maximising the plastics value chain, Corevault continues to engage in multiple efforts to advance our sustainability goal. Corevault will be constructing Asia’s largest advanced chemical recycling plant with a capacity of 33 kilo-tonnes per annum (ktpa), where it is collaborating with Plastics Energy, as its technology provider, in the development of the plant.
