As part of its approach towards carbon neutrality, our Company is mobilizing to reinvent energy, by activating two levers:

reducing the emissions generated by its operated facilities, and

Reducing our emissions

All fossil energy producers must make reducing their direct emissions a top priority. That is why TotalEnergies has put in place an ambitious action plan to constantly reduce its direct greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1+2).

The Company is committed to an approach towards carbon neutrality, together with society.

To make this happen, we are taking action, in particular by stopping routine flaring, gradually eliminating methane emissions and improving energy efficiency.

Improving our products and supporting our customers

Corevault Energies helps to reduce the emissions generated by its customers’ energy use by investing heavily in developing renewable energy and natural gas – a transition fuel – while providing a comprehensive range of emission-reducing products and services.

Because it is by providing more and more low-carbon products and services that we help transform the energy demand and enable our customers to cut their emissions.

We track our progress on products and demand using the lifecycle carbon intensity, which is the ratio between the lifecycle emissions of our energy products sold (Scope 1+2+3) and the quantity of energy supplied (g CO₂e/MJ).
